The surveys highlighted here provide insight into students’ experiences and opinions related to their social and academic engagement. Campus Climate Survey
Lehigh participates in the HEDS Diversity and Equity Campus Climate Survey to assess the state of Lehigh's climate in the service of fostering an inclusive campus community that is free from harassment and discrimination. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to share their perspectives in this survey. Comparison reports provided by HEDS are available here (Lehigh login credentials required). Longitudinal summaries of key Climate indicators are available with various demographic breakdowns in the Campus Climate Survey Dashboard.
Lehigh participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) to assess first-year and senior students' participation in programs and activities that foster learning and personal development, providing a picture of how undergraduates spend their time and what they gain from attending college. Summary reports provided by NSSE/FSSE are available here (Lehigh login credentials required). Longitudinal summaries of key student engagement indicators will available in the NSSE Student Engagement Dashboard (coming soon).
The Lehigh First-Year Survey assesses factors that may affect incoming first-year students' success at Lehigh and likelihood of graduating. Summaries of responses to this survey since 2016 are available in the First-Year Survey Dashboard.
The Lehigh Senior Survey assesses graduating seniors' experiences at Lehigh. Summaries of responses to this survey since 2016 are available in the Senior Survey Dashboard.
Graduate Student Experience Survey
The Lehigh Graduate Student Experience Survey assesses graduate students' experiences at Lehigh. The survey is being administered for the first time in Spring 2023. Summaries of responses will be available in the Graduate Student Experience Survey Dashboard (coming soon).
Graduate Next Destination Survey
The Lehigh Graduate Next Destination Survey collects information about graduate students' plans after earning their master's or doctoral degree. This information is used to advance graduate education at Lehigh. Visit the Graduate Next Destination Project to learn more.
